Marc Vayn

Marc Vayn is the founder, Chairman and Chief Marketing Officer of American Technologies Network (ATN) Corp. He started the company in 1995 from a garage-sized space in Silicon Valley after encountering night vision technology overseas and recognizing the opportunity in the U.S. market - first importing units, then quickly deciding that "importing someone else's products was not the way to go" and moving ATN into designing and manufacturing its own optics. Over 30 years in the industry, Marc has driven ATN's signature strategy: bringing consumer-electronics thinking into electro-optics. He championed the Smart HD scope line - the first riflescopes with Bluetooth, IoT connectivity and smartphone streaming, creating the "record, shoot and share" category - and pushed ATN's expansion into thermal imaging with the ThOR riflescope line, through to today's Generation 6 platform with sub-15mK sensors, honored with the 2025 Gold Award (Night Vision/Thermal) and Favorite New Product Award from Shooting Sports Retailer. Marc is a lifelong practitioner of the products he builds: nighttime hog hunts with a ThOR thermal riflescope, and family camping trips with an ODIN thermal viewer for wildlife observation. Away from optics, he is an avid sailor who enjoys teaching the sport.
