ATN Corp - How to Take Crisp Photos from Any Distance with ATN Full HD

crisp photos x sight 4k pro

Being able to take pictures using your rifle scope has to be one of the coolest technological features added to your hunting gear over the years, and the cameras in scopes have been steadily improving, just like the cameras in your smartphone. Take the ATN X-Sight 4K Pro, for example, which can take photos and record videos in sharp 1080p full HD so you can bring shots of the landscape and your adventures back home to share with family and friends.

If you're wondering how to take crisp photos using your scope, it's a little more complicated than snapping a picture with your phone, as you'll need to focus your scope and remain still while doing so. But it isn't too complex, and anyone can easily learn how to take full HD photos on their rifles' scope with these tips. Here, we'll be going over everything you need to know about how to take crisp photos using your ATN full HD scope so you can get the most out of the feature.

Focusing Your Scope

If you want to know how to take crisp photos, you first need to know how to focus your scope so you can have a clear image to take a picture of. We're guessing you're already a little familiar with how to achieve a focused scope considering you need a clear image to be able to track your target and get a good shot. Thankfully, the way you get your scope focused for taking a picture is pretty much the same. But in case you need a refresher, here's what you need to do to get a focused scope.

First, point your scope towards a plain background. Then, rotate the focusing adjustment backward so the image appears very fuzzy before rotating it forwards until the reticle is perfectly sharp. It might seem counterintuitive to start with the eyepiece in such a rearward position and then focusing the image from there, but this is done to prevent your eyes from using their own natural focusing mechanism and accommodating to an image that isn't as sharp as it could be.

You'll know you have a perfectly focused scope when both the reticle and the target image are perfectly sharp. Some fuzziness can be expected depending on how far away your subject is, but the X-Sight 4K Pro should always deliver exceptionally crisp, clear, and full HD photos.

How to take crisp photos on the ATN X-Sight 4K Pro

The process for how to take crisp photos using the X-Sight 4K Pro is really that easy, and you can download them straight onto your phone using the companion Obsidian 4 app for iOS and Android devices. The scope also includes a port for micro-USB type C so you can connect it to your computer and retrieve the photos from it that way.
