The ATN NVMN14-HPT is a high-performance modular, hand-held Night Vision Monocular. It utilizes a single Gen.3 or Gen.4 Intensifier Tube to provide crisp and clear images under the darkest conditions.

can be hand-held or installed in a standard PVS-7 head mount, or it can be installed in an optional dual-carriage head mount. The ATN NVMN14-HPT is fully submersible to a depth of 20 Meters.
The integrated IR Illuminator enhances the ability of the user to read maps, and operate in confined spaces. The ATN NVMN14-HPT is compatible with most all weapon-mounted IR Laser aiming and

The Johnson Criteria assumes that the critical dimension for a human being is 0.75 meters. To get DRI, you need 1.5 pixels, 6 pixels and 12 pixels across 0.75 meters in the object pane.
That means:

  • Detection
    1.5 pixels / 0.75m = 2 pixels per meter
  • Recognition
    6 pixels / 0.75m = 8 pixels per meter
  • Identification
    12 pixels / 0.75m = 16 pixels per meter

Assuming that a man is 1.83m by 0.5m, the following would apply:
