"I have had a month or so to test this so I could give a review. This little item is remarkable. Clarity is superb. Under normal night time conditions of no moon to full moon I am able to see 75 yards easily. The illuminator is not worth having( single led), it seems to light up maybe 10-20"

Modular Goggle System

. Designed primarily to be a Goggle System for handsfree application, this unit can also be used as a compact Monocular or can be attached to a camera for nighttime photography. This high-resolution 1st Gen.+ Night Vision unit comes with 1x magnification, but has the option of being 4x or 8x. Surprisingly, even though we gave the ATN Viper a heavy coated glass lens, we were still able to keep its weight down to only nine ounces. So for any activity you plan on doing which requires Night Vision and handsfree operation the ATN Viper delivers superior results.

		Detection, Recognition, Identification Select the Device: Human DRI Vehicle DRI Measurements: Meters The Johnson Criteria assumes that the critical dimension for a human being is 0.75 meters. To get DRI, you need 1.5 pixels, 6 pixels and 12 pixels across 0.75 meters in the object pane.
