2nd + Gen Image Intensifier Tubes
ATNs standard 2nd + generation image intensifier tubes (IITs) are high quality with exceptional brightness and resolution. Each image tube has a micro channel plate, multi-alkaline photocathode with built-in power supply. Night vision units using 2nd Gen. image intensifier tubes have a typical resolution of 40-45lp/mm and a typical signal to noise ratio (SNR) of 12-20. Night Vision equipment that utilizes ATN 2+ Gen IITs represent a very cost effective alternative to 3rd generation or 4th generation equipment for law enforcement, hunters, outdoor enthusiasts, and personal defense consumers.
