3rd generation for under $1700.00!!!! This is an incredible deal on a 3rd generation multi purpose system. The Multi-use ATN PS14-3B is a high-performance modular, hand-held Night Vision Monocular. It can be hand held, used as a goggle (optional headset) or you can add the optional 5x lens for extra magnification. We outfitted it with one of our 3rd generation B-spot spec tubes to match excellent features with an unbelievable price.
Our “3B” B-Spot spec tubes are 3rd generation units with blemishes within the viewing area that exceed the allowable amount for our standard grade.
Grade "B" tubes with minor blemishes with severity that is not to detract from normal viewing. These are usually the result of manufacturing imperfections that have no or very negligible affect on reliability and are not a cause for repair work. Cosmetic Blemishes can include Emission Points, Black Spots or Dark Lines.
These cosmetic imperfections do not impair the performance or warranty of these tubes, and provide a very cost effective option of owning a top quality unit at a fraction of the regular price.
Emission Points.
A steady or fluctuating pinpoint of bright light in the image area that does not go away when all light is blocked from the objective lens of the monocular. The position of an emission point within the image area does not move.
Black Spots.
These are cosmetic blemishes in the image intensifier or dirt or debris between the lenses. Black spots are acceptable as long as they do not interfere with viewing the image.
Dark Lines
One or a few irregular dark thin lines seen in some areas within the field of view. This is typically viewed in high light conditions.
