The

ATN NVM14-2I Night Vision Scope

is a handheld, head-mounted, helmet-mounted or weapon-mounted Night Vision System that enables walking, driving, weapon firing, short-range surveillance, map reading, vehicle maintenance and administering first aid in both moonlight and starlight. The each unit allows vertical adjustment (by using head straps), fore-and-aft adjustment, objective lens focus, and eyepiece focus. The device is also equipped with an Infrared light-emitting source.

utilizes the principle of intensification of the residual light which is reflected from the surrounding objects. The optical system of the Monocular consists of an objective lens, an Image Intensifier Tube and an eyepiece.

The Johnson Criteria assumes that the critical dimension for a human being is 0.75 meters. To get DRI, you need 1.5 pixels, 6 pixels and 12 pixels across 0.75 meters in the object pane.
That means:

Recognition
6 pixels / 0.75m = 8 pixels per meter
Identification
12 pixels / 0.75m = 16 pixels per meter
