		The MK8700 Smart Series Riflescope is a true Aries Night Vision Weapon Scope. ATN manufactures the largest line of night vision weapon sights or night vision scopes or just night scopes. By utilizing the current military designs we have developed the most advanced NVD riflescopes commercially available. Our "Red on Green" rear projection aiming system provides the user with a sharp reticle allowing fast and effortless target acquisition. This system increases the reticle sharpness by 600% over standard NVD riflescopes. Unlike some cheap scope Aries MK 8700is equipped with 1/8 M.O.A. internal windage elevation system. The Mk 8700 is the ultimate choice for Law Enforcement Professionals or the Hunter that insists on his night vision equipment being the best. According to our customers this model performs comparable to 4x Raptor scope, PVS-14, Elcan Blackcat Aquila, AN/PVS-17 or other far more expensive weapon mounted solutions. ATN Aries 8700 uses Gen 4 filmless autogated image intensifier and easy to operate night scope and incorporates a weaver style mounting base, Red on Green rangefinder reticle and target 1/8 MOA internal adjustments.

ATNs Autogated / Filmless IITs improve night operational effectiveness in dynamic lighting conditions such as those experienced, for example, in night operations in urban areas. The filmless micro channel plate provides a higher signal-to-noise ratio than standard Gen 3, resulting in better image quality under low-light conditions. An Autogated power supply further improves image resolution under high light conditions and a reduced halo effect that minimizes interference from bright light sources. Units with 4th gen autogated/filmless IITs have a typical resolution of 64-72lp/mm and a minimum signal to noise ratio of 24.
