Interest in night vision gear and what it offers to law enforcement and civilian users has increased. The first Gulf War made
most realize that night vision has revolutionized the modern battlefield and is a crucial advantage exploited by U.S. armed forces. As often happens with technology, this advantage is now becoming available to the law enforcement and civilian markets. |

Anyone who has sailed, at night knows that night vision is a precious thing. One minute you can see quite clearly, the next - after that clot on the foredeck has shone his torch in your face or someone has opened, the loo door with the light on - you're effectively blind. It can easily take half an hour to recover from a half-second's exposure to light. Wouldn't it be fantastic if we had a cat-like ability to see in the dark without having to rely on lights and torches? Unfortunately, no matter how many carrots you eat, you're never coins to match Titidles' ability to spot a mouse at midnight without some son of technological assistance. |

It seems every piece of NV equipment I use from ATN impresses me. The PS22-3a is no exception. In fact, it sets the bar even higher for my future expectations. The PS22-3a is a top of the line 3rd Generation device using handpicked image intensification tubes (IIT) for the highest performance. Generation 3 devices are considered so technologically advanced that exporting Gen 3 night vision equipment from the US without a valid export permit issued by the US State Dept is strictly prohibited. The PS22-3a meets or exceeds military specifications with a resolution of 64-72 lp/mm and Signal to Noise (SNR) ratio minimum of 20. Resolution is defined as the ability of a night vision system to distinguish between objects close together. Image intensifier resolution is measured in line pairs per millimeter (lp/mm). SNR is a measure of the light signal reaching the eye divided by the perceived noise as seen by the eye. A tube’s SNR determines the low light resolution of the image tube. A high SNR translates into the tubes better ability to resolve objects with good contrast under low-light conditions. Many experts in the field feel the SNR is the best indicator of an image intensifiers performance because SNR is directly related to the photocathode’s sensitivity and accounts for phosphor efficiency and micro-channel plate (MCP) operating voltage. ATN’s webpage is a great source of information, not just for ATN products, but for how night vision works in general. |

This letter is in reference to ATN Ranger Eyes 1500 Laser Range
Finder. I am a member of a sniper team that recently participated in a Sniper Sustainment Training Excersice. We ( C. co Snipers) were recently in the market for a laser range finder since our unit's most recently deployment in support of OIF had left us without one. After much researching, and searching for a company that would work with our small budget while delivering a quality product we could count on for training and through our next combat deployment, we came to ATN. Their
sales team worked with our budget, recognizing the real need of a small military team to have reliable precision equipment. In the 2 weeks following the arrival of our LRF we used it 5 days a week, for ranging targets on the range to confirming distances of targets during Range Estimation excersises. However, the real test was once we got to the field.
During a 5 day training excersise we put the LRF through it's paces. Dragging it along through Stalking excersises, for target distances on the range, and it came along on every other excersise we did. It became as much a part of our equipment as the M24 or M107. I would highly recommend this product to anyone desiring a reliable, precision LRF made by a company who avidly supports our troops and Law Enforcement as well as providing high-end affordable equipment for the everyday marksman. |

ATN produces one of the most diversified line-ups of night vision (NV) devices in the industry. ATN offers many other optical devices beside NV; such as scopes, binoculars, reflex sights, laser range finders, thermal viewers, and other specialized optics. Any conceptions I held of tactics, personal defense, or prudent countermeasures in terms of equipment have been redefined; first on an individual level and more importantly for law enforcement or defense agency applications. Night vision always seemed beyond my reach either for reasons of economics, more pressing equipment needs, and now upon reflection, a lack of understanding of its capabilities. I admit to having held certain perceptions regarding night vision gear. There are times when one must get past the novelty of an item to truly appreciate its significance. I am familiar with night vision terminology labeling equipment by First, Second, Third, Fourth Generation based on technology level. I do grasp what an important advantage it has given US forces on the battlefield. The “eye opener” for me is the benefits modern night vision gear can bring not only to law enforcement, but civilians as well. Darkness is when crime and violence predominantly happens. I want to discuss/highlight the multi-purpose, utilitarian ATN NVM-14-3a monocular that brought about this awakening. |

Let Me Say That I Love The Scope. It Is A Good Concept. I Have Been Shooting Sniper Rifles For 17 Years, And Finding A Good Day/night Scope Has Always Been A Problem. I Could Have Really Used Your Riflescope In Afghanistan.
Prior To Finding Your Scope, My .50 Cal Rifle Had No Night Capability. So It Was Basically Worthless. We Own The Dark. If Not For ATN And Your Scope, My Rifle Would Still Be In A Box. |

As The Slow Rising Moon Cast Eerie Shadows Across The Freshly Harvested Hay Field, I Diligently Searched For The Marauders Who Were Wrecking Havoc On The Tender Vegetation. The Recent Rain Made The Field A Heavenly Playground For These Armor-plated Root Hogs, Better Known To You As Armadillos...
DPMS (Defense Procurement Manufacturing Services), Inc. Had Sent Me The Perfect Weapon, A DPMS A-22, An AR-15 Rimfire Rifle. I Also Knew That A Scope Would Be More Of A Hindrance And Decided To Mount A Reflex Sight. ATN (American Technologies Network) Corp. Sent Me Their Latest Reflex Sight, The Digital Ultra Sight. This Red Dot Sight Makes It Very Easy To Get On Target Rapidly And To Stay On Target Even When It Is Moving Rapidly.... |

I Purchased A Javelin J125W Weapon Mounted Flashlight In February Of 2007 For Use On My Current Deployment To Eastern Baghdad. Every Member Of My Infantry Squad Has A Flashlight Of Some Sort, But None That Come Close To Being As Bright Or Durable. It Is By Far The Best Tactical Flashlight On The Market For Its Money Today, And It Is An Extremely Valuable Asset Daily Here In Iraq. It Has Been Submerged In Water, Put Through Glass Windows, And Smashed Repeatedly During Combat Operations And Still It Continued To Work Properly.
When My Flashlight Broke Due To Extreme Circumstances, Not Only Did ATN Respond Promptly, But The Response Was From The Vice President Of The Company, Ensuring My Light Would Be Replaced Promptly And At No Cost To Myself. It Is Hard To Find Better Customer Service Anywhere Today Than That Provided By ATN And From Now On I Will Recommend ATN Flashlights To All Of My Soldiers.

One Of The Wildest-looking Riflescopes I’ve Seen In A Long Time Is The 10x65Z Army Mil-Dot Model Just Introduced By The American Technologies Network Corp (ATN). This Innovative, Fixed-power 10x Scope Features A Massive 65mm Objective Lens With A Built-in Sunshade And Spring-loaded Protective Cap.
Scopes With Oversized Objectives—and I Can’t Think Of Any Sporting Scope With A Larger Lens Than This—typically Position Their
Eyepieces High Above The Bore. Viewing The Target Through These
Elevated Lenses Requires A Tall-combed Stock Or Holding Your Head
Unnaturally High. The ATN Scope Solves This Problem With The
Help Of A Patented Prismatic Design, Which Allows Offsetting The
Eyepiece From The Centerline Of The Scope In The Same Way A Porroprism Binocular Does. |

I Have Called Predators For The Better Part Of 20 Years, But Almost Always In Daylight. It Wasn't Until Several Years Ago, That I Started Calling Them At Night. The Cover Of Darkness Adds Another Level To This Already Challenging Sport. On The Plus Side, Predators Are Abundant At Night And Readily Come To The Call, But The Obvious Downside Is They Are Hard To See. I Have Experimented With Various Spotlight, And Gun Mounted Lights, And While They Do Work Well Under Most Situation, You Have To Lug Around A Bunch Of Battery Packs And The Occasional Coyote Will Spook From The Telltale Glare Of An Uncovered Light. When Night Vision Optics First Entered The Market At An Affordable Price, I Rushed Out And Bought One With Preconceived Notions Of How Well It Would Work For Predators. To My Dismay This Inexpensive, First Generation Night Vision Wasn't Very Good. It Didn't Gather Enough Light, The Image Was Very Grainy And It Required Constant Focusing To Be Able To See Anything At All.

I Recently Purchased A Javelin J169W Tactical Flashlight. The Reason I Bought It Was To Be Used In Conjunction With An EO TECH Sight I Have On My Weapon For Home Defense. I Live In The Woods In Washington State And I Can Say The Combination Of The Two Is Everything I Had Hoped For And Then Some. Your Flashlight Was The Key In Making This Possible And The Visibility Is Perfect.
