This Night Vision scope from the line of ATN Night Vision equipment is an excellent alternative to Night Vision binoculars. Features also include fast all-glass-lens, digital controls, a long-range infrared illuminator and Proximity Sensor automatically turns the Night Vision scope ON when it is brought in the viewing position. Filmless and autogated high resolution 64-lp/mm minimum Generation 4 performance MO4-4 applications ranging from Astronomy to Wildlife Observation to Drag Enforcement to Anti-Terrorism security efforts.

ATNs Autogated / Filmless IITs improve night operational effectiveness in dynamic lighting conditions such as those experienced, for example, in night operations in urban areas. The filmless micro channel plate provides a higher signal-to-noise ratio than standard Gen 3, resulting in better image quality under low-light conditions. An Autogated power supply further improves image resolution under high light conditions and a reduced halo effect that minimizes interference from bright light sources.

Units with 4th gen autogated/filmless IITs have a typical resolution of 64-72lp/mm and a minimum signal to noise ratio of 24.
